Rats

IDENTIFICATION

6-8 inches.

Tail not as long as body and head combined.

Brown with scattered black hairs and a gray underside.

Small ears and eyes.

Young rats are similar to mice except for large black feet on rats.

INDICATIONS

Gnaw marks.

Damaged goods.

Prefers meat, fish, cereal and pet and livestock feeds.

Runs along walls leaving dark “rub marks”.

Burrows into ground inside and outside.

Droppings.

Nests with various materials.

TREATMENT

Inspection and minor exclusion.

Set bait stations along sills, under sinks and areas needed.

Secure tamper resistant bait stations in outside areas and along burrows.

Monitor every 14 - 30 days until gone.

Restrict use where children, pets and non target animals may have access.
