Deer Ticks , also known as Black Legged Tick, are the primary source of Lyme Disease to humans and animals.
They are found in woods, yards, parks and anywhere there is tall grass, shrubs and shaded areas.
TREATMENT.
To treat for ticks a general surface spray is applied around the perimeter of the property.
Spray is directed approximately six feet into brush and grass in both directions and on low hanging branches, stone walls and any likely hiding areas for mice and other rodent carriers.
These applications are made in the Spring and Fall.
Great care is taken to avoid spraying flowering trees, flowers and flowering weeds when in bloom. Protection of Honey Bees is a major concern.
